About Kacee...
After studying at a classical conservatory in Northern California, Kacee moved to Los Angeles and began modeling, acting, and doing commercial work as a singer and writer. She has produced and released 3 of her own CDs and toured extensively with both Joe Cocker and Luis Miguel as a background singer, and with Big Brother & the Holding Company as their lead vocalist. She has recorded and/or performed with many other artists, including GEM, Richard Marx, Michael Bolton, Beth Hart, Guy Sebastian, and Dallas Hodge. In 2021, she moved her heart and home to Nashville, where the adventure continues.
Kacee has been very involved in the theater world since the early 2000s and in 2013-2014 played Janis Joplin in the Broadway production of A Night With Janis Joplin at The Lyceum Theatre. Her regional and other credits include: Breaking Through (Pasadena Playhouse), A Night With Janis Joplin (McCarter Theatre, A.C.T., Alley Theatre, The 5th Avenue Theatre, Pasadena Playhouse, ZACH Theatre, San Jose Repertory), Love, Janis (San Diego Repertory, Kansas City Repertory, Downstairs Cabaret Theatre), Your Town Follies, a Cirque Comique (El Portal Theatre), Repartee ’07 (Kansas City Repertory), co-starring Grammy winner Gregory Porter.
Kacee joined the LA College of Music faculty 2008-2015 as a vocal and performance instructor and was instrumental in designing the physical performance program, rock history curriculum, performance classes, and the mentor program. She continues to work as a private coach and producer for independent and signed artists, theatre casts (coaching productions of Spring Awakening, The Last 5 Years, Dogfight), and others.
Kacee has appeared as a singer/actor in multiple film and TV productions, including Mobsters (Universal Pictures), Franklin Fogerty, Kid Detective (DKA Productions), White River Tales (AFI),The Tonight Show (NBC), Regis & Kelly (ABC), Parkinson (BBC), and Soap Talk (ABC). She has also been a writer/singer/voiceover artist on numerous productions in the film, TV, commercial, and video game industries, including Madam Secretary (CBS), The Tooth Fairy (20th Century Fox), Kinsey (Fox Searchlight Pictures), Barracuda (Mercury Rising Films), Brothers and Sisters (ABC), Fox Sports, Cribs (MTV), Open House New York (NBC), 18 to Life (CBS), The Guiding Light (CBS), and a voiceover artist for ZEN Foods, HFC Beneficial, HSBC, Heavy Gear (Activision), The Saboteur (AE Games), Teen Digital (Activision).
